MetaBind provides a simple and easy, yet powerful way to write distributed applications and accelerate application development by automatic code generation, allowing both business analysts as well as developers of varying experience levels to rapidly produce reliable business applications and Web Services adhering to the specifications of any deployment technology such as J2EE.

MetaBind generates complete, working applications directly from schema specifications (metadata) of an application component, using sophisticated patterns to implement code that is based on accepted best practices. This methodology provides the first and most effective way to write business logic and integrate any application through the application's API.

Business analysts and less experienced Java developers can quickly build or modify business applications directly by working with easily extracted metadata specifications, while advanced developers are freed from many of the repetitive coding tasks that can now be automated.

MetaBind enables advanced developers to focus on important architectural aspects such as selection of technologies, infrastructure, design patterns and coding practices in order to meet scalability and performance requirements. Instead of directly coding the application, developers customize MetaBind by implementing new Code Templates, formatting tools and business standard handlers, which will be used for rapidly implementing the projects via our automatic code generation engine.

MetaBind supports rapid application change and ongoing maintenance by keeping the generated code, schema, mappings & transformation and developer customizations in sync with the day-to-day business process changes.

MetaBind is comprised of two complementary systems

• The MetaBind Integrated Development Environment (IDE), which automatically generates high quality, n-tier application code within minutes from schema specifications and allows the user to directly transform and integrate with other processes and utilities and create business logic components.
• The MetaBind Runtime, is a set of runtime components supporting basic application functionality, content based routing, messaging functionality and integration functionality. It marshalls and unmarshalls various messages into the application adapters created by the IDE.
